Heritage Grants

This programme supports projects that will contribute to the transformation of high streets and town centres in England helping them become thriving places, strengthening local communities and encouraging local economies to prosper.  It is part of a wider initiative to revive heritage high streets in England, alongside Historic England’s High Street Heritage Action Zones.

Foundation Grant

Many armed forces charities struggle to raise sufficient funding to support serving and former members of the British Armed Forces’ and sometimes their dependants who are in need. The Veterans' Foundation has been created to establish a new and nationwide source of funding to help these charities.  It acquires its funds through the Veterans’ Lottery and donations.

The trustees of the Veterans' Foundation will disburse funds to Armed Forces charities and charitable activities.

They will support projects that:

Large & Small scale grants

The Football Foundation provides grants for building or refurbishing grassroots facilities, such as changing rooms, 3G pitches, fencing, portable floodlights, pitch improvements and clubhouse refurbishment. The Fund is available to football clubs, schools, councils and local sports associations and gives grants for projects that:

Yapp Charitable Grants

The Trust only make grants for ongoing core funding to groups which support: • Elderly people • Children and young people aged 5 – 25 • People with physical impairments, learning difficulties or mental health challenges • Social welfare – people trying to overcome life-limiting problems of a social, rather than medical, origin (such as addiction, relationship difficulties, abuse, offending) • Education and learning (with a particular interest in people who are educationally • disadvantaged, whether adults or children)

Emergency Grant Programme

The organisation’s main charitable activity must be the rescue and rehoming of domestic pets.

Support Adoption for Pets funds projects that have a direct impact on animal welfare. In light of the current Covid situation they will only fund:- Vet bills,boarding costs,food, salaries of non furloughed animal care satff, utilities and consumables.

The organisation has been operating for at least 2 years and can provide rehoming figures and financial information for a 12 month period.

 

 

Shine Bright Fund

UK charities with a turnover of less than £1.5 million per year and who are working with at-risk young people affected by the covid-19 crisis will be able to apply for unrestricted grants of up to £2,500. The funding can be used for overheads, salary costs, and/ or wherever else the organisation needs to ensure its survival and sustainable services in the future.

The Schroder Charity Trust has a proud history of supporting the UK charity sector for over 70 years.Members of the Schroder family have served as Directors throughout our history and today the Schroder Charity Trust is served by three generations of the family on the Board.

Community Champions

Persimmon Community Champions is here to fund good causes across the UK. Each of their 31 businesses and their PLC head office are giving away up to £2,000 every month – that is £64,000 a month available to fund local community initiatives. Persimmon Community Champions have supported thousands of community groups and charities over the years.

Community groups and charities can apply for grants of up to £1,000.
