Yes, it is that time again; numerous grant funds are opening up! What follows is our guidance on how to go about responding to this specific fund – what to include and the pitfalls to avoid.  

Many of you reading this may well be experienced in writing funding bids – but even the most experienced can overlook something. We are not setting out to patronise anyone. Instead, we are coming from a position of offering advice and support.  

GSK IMPACT Awards

For charities with income between £150,000 and £3 million

The GSK IMPACT Awards provide funding, training and development for charities doing excellent work to improve people’s health and wellbeing.  Now in their 29th year, they are open to registered charities that are at least three years’ old, working in a health-related field in the UK.

Provide Community Grants

Unrestricted grants are available for charitable organisations who are working to improve health and wellbeing in local communities in Essex, Suffolk, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Dorset, Lincolnshire, Cheshire, North Yorkshire, or South Yorkshire.

Background

The Provide Community Grants scheme is delivered by Ormiston Families, a registered charity, on behalf of Provide Community, an employee owned community interest company which offers high-quality care and support across East Anglia, Dorset and northern England.
