Person Specification:

  • Experience in fundraising, sales or community engagement
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Good level of computer skills
  • Flexible approach, with ability to work occasional weekends and evenings
  • Knowledge of GDPR and fundraising regulations

Job Description:

  • Strategy: Develop, implement and monitor innovative fundraising strategies and campaigns to meet agreed income targets
  • Supporter Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, community groups ensuring excellent stewardship
  • Digital and Community Fundraising: Plan and manage online fundraising campaigns and appeals
  • Event Management: Organise, coordinate and deliver charity fundraising events, managing logistics, budget, volunteers and post event evaluations
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Provide monthly reports on fundraising performance, analysing successes and areas for development
  • Marketing and Communications: Collaborate on the creation of newsletters, social media content and promotional material to support fundraising campaigns
  • Gift Aid Management: Maximise income by ensuring eligible donations are processed for Gift Aid Database and compliance Maintain accurate financial and donor records across various income streams and inline with GDPR and best practice fundraising standards
