Allen Lane Foundation

The Allen Lane Foundation is keen to work with groups which focus on:

  • Will make a lasting difference to people's lives rather than simple alleviating the symptoms or current problems.
  • Is aimed at reducing isolation, stigma, and discrimination.
  • Encourages or enables unpopular groups to share in the life of the whole community.

Available Funding

The maximum grant is £15,000. This can be a single grant, or over two to three years.

Who can apply?

Albert Hunt Trust

The Albert Hunt Trust is a grant-giving charitable trust that provides grants to support mental health and wellbeing of children and young adults up to the age of 25. Covering areas such as family support, suicide prevention, food banks, and more.

The following funding is currently available:

Everybody Foundation Funding Grants

Small grants of up to £200 are available to help support young people staying in sport. Grants must be used to subsidise club subscriptions, pay for equipment, or kit that could not be paid for otherwise, or used towards travel costs to and from sports training and tournaments. This can either be in the form of a general hardship fund for your club, or on behalf of a specific young person who is in immediate need. Currently, we are only accepting applications from local sporting organisations – either on behalf of a specific young person, or to create a hardship fund.

The Robert Clutterbuck Charitable Trust Grants

The Robert Clutterbuck Charitable Trust exists to help other charities by making grants to them. It has set priorities and invites applications within those priority areas.

Grants will not be made to charities with an annual turnover exceeding £500,000 unless they are primarily concerned with the welfare of ex-service personnel or have previously received a grant from the Trust.

In practice, the Trustees do not consider applications for payments to individuals and do not generally pay grants below £1000 or over £3000.

Repurposing our High Streets Grants

We’re offering capital grants of up to £30,000 (depending on the length of the lease or licence you take on) to businesses or organisations that take up leases on empty commercial premises in Crewe town centre.

Grants can be used to support you with the costs of improving the property – including fit-out costs – as well as to purchase equipment that you may need.

To be eligible, your organisation should meet all three of the following criteria:

Core Grants

Core Costs support essential organisational and administrative spending. These are the key expenses required to keep your organisation running.
Our Core Costs funding can be spent on your organisation’s central day-to-day operations.
