Provides grant funding for a variety of charities from £1,000 to £3,000. Deadlines for applications are 30th June and 31st December with Trustees meeting in March and September.

The Improving Lives grant programme provides grants to charitable organisations that help people when other sources of support have failed, are inappropriate, or are simply not available.
We support established organisations delivering services directly to beneficiaries. We are looking for services which can demonstrate a track record of success, and evidence the effectiveness of the work.
This is our largest grants programme, through which the majority of our funds are distributed.
The A B Charitable Trust (ABCT) is an independent, UK based grant-making organisation founded in 1990 that is concerned with promoting and defending human dignity.
ABCT supports charities that defend human rights and promote respect for vulnerable individuals whatever their circumstances. The Trust is particularly interested in charities that work with marginalised and excluded people in society with a focus on:
- migrants, refugees and asylum seekers
- criminal justice and penal reform
- human rights, particularly access to justice

The Archer Trust was set up in 1994 in memory of Ronnie Archer, who rose through the ranks of Unilever to become Vice-Chairman. It is hoped that the Archer Trust will be a fitting memorial to a talented but modest man.

Social and Criminal Justice. Funding to prevent people entering the criminal justice system and to support those already in it to rehabilitate and improve their lives. Also to fund early intervention programmes with children and their families and also funding programmes to stop re-offending and helping with rehabilitation.
