Refugees Welcome, in collaboration with Cheshire East Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Alliance, introduces a fully funded, premium training masterclass designed specifically to elevate frontline expertise, deepen clinical awareness, and protect daily wellbeing.

 Unpack clinical frameworks for PTSD and relocation stress, anchored in live international field-work insights.

Trauma-Focussed Practice

Improving Youth Mental Health Training

Free Improving Youth Mental Health training is available across Cheshire East for adults supporting young people aged up 18- 25, including staff, volunteers, parents and carers.

The 4-hour course helps participants build understanding of mental wellbeing, anxiety, resilience, self-esteem and confidence.

Topics include stress, burnout, depression, mindfulness, self-care, breathing techniques and the NHS 5 Ways to Wellbeing.

The course is free for Cheshire East residents aged 18+, with options to host sessions for community groups and organisations.


 

BDP Care Community Walk

The BDP Care Community Walk is a free community wellbeing walk taking place on 
Thursday 10th September, 11:00am to 12:30pm.

Participants will meet at the Bridgend Centre for a relaxed stroll through Bollington’s parks and woodland trails.

The event encourages people to connect with others, enjoy nature, and improve their wellbeing through gentle physical activity.
Everyone is welcome, with a friendly, comfortable pace designed to support community connection and wellbeing.
