Her-Place Charitable Trust is looking for a proactive, community-minded individual to join our team as a Summer Community Hub Assistant. If you are passionate about supporting women and families and want to gain hands-on experience in the charity sector, we want to hear from you!
The Role at a Glance
As a Summer Community Hub Assistant, you will be the heartbeat of our Community Share Hub and Women’s Centre. From managing our vital Baby Bank orders to representing Her-Place at local festivals and Pride events, no two days are the same.
You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of volunteers and staff to ensure our services remain a welcoming lifeline for the Crewe community.

It is unlikely, due to operational restrictions that we will be able to arrange alternative interview dates, please make sure that you can attend an interview on the 18th June before you apply.
Location: Crewe (Beech Drive & Victoria Centre)
Contract: Fixed Term until 30th September 2026 Hours: 20 hours per week (Worked Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday) Pay: National Minimum Wage (up to £12.71/hr for ages 21+)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sorting donations and preparing essential Baby Bank and Hub orders for those in need.
- Welcoming and supporting service users with empathy and a friendly smile.
- Getting stuck into local pop-ups, fundraisers, and community engagement events.
- Working closely with our wonderful volunteers and attending team meetings to help our services grow.
- Assisting with the opening/closing of our centres and maintaining high standards across our sites.
