We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who can provide effective support and advocacy to parents during what can be some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

You will play an important role in helping parents understand processes, express their views and feel supported throughout their journey. You will need excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of safeguarding and family services, and a genuine commitment to promoting positive outcomes for children and families.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about people’s rights and equality.
  • Has experience supporting parents, families or vulnerable adults.
  • Understands Child Protection procedures and/or Family Care Proceedings.
  • Can communicate complex information clearly and sensitively.
  • Is confident advocating for people and ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Can build positive, professional relationships with parents and professionals.
  • Is organised, compassionate and able to work effectively in challenging circumstances.
