Domestic Abuse peer support group:

Where: Winsford Hub

When: Third Mon of each month, 10-12pm

What to expect: A safe place to talk, connect and find encouragement after experiences of domestic abuse. You don’t have to go through this journey alone.

Areas you might cover:

  • How your thoughts shape your feelings
  • Building confidence and self esteem
  • Understanding power and control in abusive relationships
  • Setting boundaries and rebuilding trust

 Cherry Blossom Infant loss peer support group

Where: Online

When: Fourth Mon of each month. 6.30-8pm

What to expect: Join our safe, supportive, and welcoming online space to connect with other women who understand. Led by Kate Blakemore, a qualified Infant Loss counsellor, this group offers gentle peer support, understanding and hope.

Thread and Needle 

Where: Winsford Hub

When: Every other Wed, 10-12pm, starts back on Sept 23rd.

What to expect:

If you're keen to try something NEW or just want to IMPROVE your skills, ALL welcome... 

This is a chance to meet other women, and have a safe space to create your sewing projects in a relaxed atmosphere.

Facilitated by Dee- an experienced seamstress who can guide you through sewing projects using machines! All equipment and refreshments provided, but feel free to bring your own projects!

Recommended donation of £2 per session, to cover material and refreshment costs.

Crochet group

Where: Winsford Hub

When: Every other Wed, 10-12pm, starts back on Sept 16th.

When: Every Tues, 10-12pm

If you're keen to try something NEW or just want to IMPROVE your skills, ALL are welcome...  

This is a chance to meet other women, and bond over a shared interest in crochet, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Helping with isolation, you’ll make new friends. This is a safe, friendly, non-judgemental place to chat. All equipment and refreshments provided but feel free to bring your own projects!. 

£2 donation for each session, to cover material and refreshment costs.

Her Collective Cooking group 

Where: Winsford Hub

When: Last Tues of each month, 12-2pm

What to expect:

If you're keen to try different foods or you want cooking tips from other women, ALL are welcome… 

This is a chance to meet other women, make new friends, and have a safe, friendly, non-judgemental place to chat, learn, and bond over cooking and food. 

Each session will feature a guided demonstration of a different, simple, and nutritious recipe, that you can go on to add to your recipes at home.

All ingredients provided, and participants receive a recipe and the chance to try the food on the day!

Craft and Chat 

Where: Crewe Hub

When: Every Mon, 12.30-2.30pm. starts back on Sept 28th.

What to expect:

If you're keen to try something NEW or just want to use your skills, ALL are welcome... 

A chance to meet other women, in a relaxed atmosphere, chat, and be creative, and have a brew!

Her-Place Charitable Trust are hosting FREE weekly sessions in Winsford to offer friendly support and helpful conversations.

These workshops, ran by Weaver Vale Housing Trust Employment Support team, are perfect for those wanting to build confidence, feel more in control and connect with others in a relaxed space.
