Improving Youth Mental Health Training

Free Improving Youth Mental Health training is available across Cheshire East for adults supporting young people aged up 18- 25, including staff, volunteers, parents and carers.

The 4-hour course helps participants build understanding of mental wellbeing, anxiety, resilience, self-esteem and confidence.

Topics include stress, burnout, depression, mindfulness, self-care, breathing techniques and the NHS 5 Ways to Wellbeing.

The course is free for Cheshire East residents aged 18+, with options to host sessions for community groups and organisations.

IMPROVING YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH

We are now offering our adult learning course "Improving Youth Mental Health" across Cheshire East for free!

This course is aimed at learners 16+ who are focused on positive outcomes and support for young people aged up to 25, such as school/college staff, youth workers and social workers, family help teams, community and voluntary sector practitioners, as well as parents and carers.

THE COURSE

The improving mental health course is delivered over 4 hours enables adults to improve young people's emotional resilience and mental wellbeing. It explores confidence-building strategies, helping learners recognise strength and positive self-image.
