One Knowsley, supported by the CVS network, VS6 and Cheshire and Warrington Infrastructure Partnership (CWIP), is pleased to share details of Phoenix Way Listening Events taking place across Cheshire and Merseyside.
A series of Phoenix Way Listening Events are taking place this spring, giving VCFSE organisations the chance to shape how funding better supports Black and racially minoritised communities. This is an opportunity for organisations across the area to share their experiences of grant funding and help shape a fairer, more equitable funding system.
The Phoenix Way is a national initiative working to address inequalities in access to funding and support. In the North West, it is led by Inclusive North, working in partnership with One Knowsley and the Greater Manchester Ethnic Community Network. These sessions are an opportunity to share your experiences, highlight barriers, and influence future funding approaches.
We especially welcome organisations led by and working with people who have lived experience of structural racism. Your contribution will help influence how resources are distributed and ensure the voices of those most affected are heard and acted upon.
