Volunteer Spotlight - Hannah
As part of Volunteers’ Week, we are pleased to spotlight one of our amazing volunteers Hannah and recognise the valuable contribution she makes to our communications and social media here at CVS.
Hannah joined us as a volunteer through a professional connection and was motivated by the opportunity to further develop her creative skills and explore new approaches to content creation.
In her role supporting our social media, Hannah designs graphics that help to make our communications more engaging and accessible for audiences across the voluntary sector. She also supports us in growing our following and promoting training opportunities that help people develop their skills and confidence.
Hannah brings both creativity and care to her work, and this is reflected in the quality and thoughtfulness of the content she produces. She has shared that one of the most rewarding aspects of the role is being able to experiment with design ideas and see the positive response and increased engagement across our platforms.
Speaking about Hannah’s volunteering, our Comms Officer Dan Carroll commented: “Hannah brings a unique perspective and a strong sense of creativity to her role. We really enjoy collaborating with her and value the thoughtful approach she takes to developing content.”
For Hannah, volunteering is also about connection and collaboration. She has highlighted how much she values the opportunity to meet new people, work as part of a team, and engage with organisations across the sector. Hannah would encourage others to consider volunteering, particularly for the chance it offers to develop new skills and experiences.
Outside of her volunteering role, Hannah enjoys spending time with friends and family, often going on walks or visiting the beach. She is also actively involved in sport and is currently captain of her university netball team, which she describes as both enjoyable and rewarding.
