CVS Meeting & Training Room Hire - Crewe

Facilities

We have four rooms available to hire at our office building in the centre of Crewe; three medium sized meeting rooms and a smaller office which has been set up as a wellbeing room. Meeting room 1 has a capacity of up to 12 people, meeting rooms 2 and 3 can accommodate up to 8 people and the wellbeing room comfortably seats 4 people.

The three medium-sized rooms are all equipped with free WIFI, large presentation TV screens and flip chart stands. The wellbeing room also has free WIFI and contains comfortable seating as well as a desk and peaceful decor with lower lighting options, and it is ideal for use as a counselling or mentoring space.

Video conferencing equipment is also available to hire for hybrid or virtual events. This comprises of an 180 degree room view webcam (able to cover everyone present) and conference microphones (able to cover up to 12 people). Data cables for connecting laptops to the large presentation TV screens are provided and the WIFI is accessible for free in all rooms. Please indicate if you will require the video conferencing equipment on the booking form.

There is a small kitchen with crockery, microwave and kettle available for you to use. Please bring your own refreshments. There is an accessible toilet and all meeting rooms are on the ground floor and accessible for wheelchair users.

There is no car parking available on site, but there is free parking available a two-minute walk away at the Browning Street Car Park which can also be accessed from Flag Lane. Alternatively, there is a pay and display car park off Delamere Street, with a walkway leading onto Victoria Street, which is also a two-minute walk from the office. www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/car-parks-and-parking Crewe Bus Station is a five-minute walk away on Delamere Street. 

Booking a room

Our rooms are available to book on weekdays only, between 9.00am and 4.00pm.

Please complete the online form to request a booking. Formal confirmation of your booking will be sent to you by one of our team upon review of the availability of the room you have requested. 

Once your booking is confirmed, an invoice will be generated and sent to the email address you provided on the form. Payment must be made before attending your booking, the payment date will be stated on the invoice. Cancellations made five working days, or more, before the scheduled booking date will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 5 working days before the booking date.

Prices

Priced to support our local community, our meeting room hire is low-cost and available by the hour. Small to medium VCFSE organizations registered as members of CVSCE receive a substantial discount. Large organizations (such as local authority departments and the NHS) and private businesses are charged at a higher rate which is still very affordable and competitive. By booking a room with CVS you’ll also be supporting us as a charity.  All rooms are charged at the same rate as follows:

CVSCE Members (small to medium sized organisations)

Hourly: £10 

Half day (up to 3 hours): £20

Full day (3 to 6 hours): £40

Large organisations or private business.

Half day (up to 3 hours): £50

Full day (to 6 hours ): £75

Terms and Conditions of Booking
• The room booking is confirmed upon a booking confirmation email from CVS. • Payment for the room hire must be made prior to attending your booking, the date of payment will be stated on the invoice. • Cancellations made 5 working days, or more, before the scheduled booking date will receive a full refund. • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 5 working days before the booking date. • A record of attendees must be kept for Fire Evacuation purposes. • Please leave the room in the same clean and orderly condition as you found it. • Please report any damages which may occur during the period of use. • CVS are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property during the booking. • Please ensure that people attending their session are aware not to attend if they have COVID symptoms or live with anyone with symptoms. • CVS reserves the right to cancel any booking if they feel that there is a risk to others using the building.
