We provide a variety of free and low cost training courses on a wide range of subjects to support both staff and volunteers in the Voluntary, Community & Faith sector in Cheshire East. To learn more about each course or to book a place on line, please click on the relevant session link below.

Each of our CVS training sessions will be marked with one of the below badges as a reference for members working towards GRIPP Assurance or working to a bespoke GRIPP support plan, created following completion of the GRIPP Checklist.

Cyber Security for Charities - WEBINAR - Tuesday 7th April 2020 - Tue, 07/04/2020 - 10:00

Cyber security is the means by which individuals and organisations reduce the risk of becoming victims of cyber attack. This free half day training session teaches participants about the importance of cyber security and how to implement it for charities.

Introduction to Safeguarding - Wednesday 20th May - Wed, 20/05/2020 - 09:30

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Do your staff, trustees and volunteers understand the basics of safeguarding? This free session will ensure that you understand what your organisation needs to do to keep everyone involved safe.

Project management training with Barclays - Friday 22nd May 2020 - Fri, 22/05/2020 - 09:00

Open to all CVS members in Cheshire East this full day workshop will be delivered by the Project Management Team at Barclays and will look at ways of planning and managing your project to ensure success!

Emergency First Aid at Work - Wednesday 27th May 2020 - Wed, 27/05/2020 - 09:00

This full day course is ideal for anyone who requires an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate. The course meets HSE requirements and is fully certified. Certification is valid for 3 years.
