Cheshire East  Council has this week launched their consultation process on proposals to balance the Council’s medium term finances and they are  aiming to engage widely with the community, whether as individuals or organisations.

The document which can be viewed here sets out detailed options for balancing the medium term finances, against a backdrop of  reductions in government grants and increasing demand for key services.

As always there are implications for voluntary sector organisations , particularly those who deliver contracted services to the Council or are in receipt of Council grants. But there may are also be implications for  users of your services.
