Caudwell Children are looking for an organised, reliable and confident Outreach Volunteers to help with our Warm Homes project.

A funded project across several UK cities, supporting the parents/carers of disabled children in their own home, to provide the family support that they need and to help families to address energy efficiency and affordability, a huge step towards transforming the lives of disabled children.

Responsibilities include:
· Contacting organisations (e.g. schools, community groups) via telephone, email and social media to promote the Warm Homes project and widen our reach to families across the UK
· Understanding the wider services of Caudwell Children to enable a connected signposting service
· Researching suitable contacts
· Data entry and organisation
· Communicating with staff and other volunteers
· Attending community events to meet project needs

Fuel Poverty is an issue facing families nationwide, particularly during lockdown. If you’re a friendly, computer savvy, dedicated individual looking to gain research, administration and communication skills, please apply.

Suggested commitment of 3 hours per week for 6-12 months – full training and support provided
