We are looking for volunteers to help us raise money to support the important work the Royal British Legion carries out helping active and former armed service personnel and their families

In the run up to Remembrance Sunday, 14th November, the Royal British Legion is raising money through collection boxes on the streets and in retail shops around Knutsford. We would very much like volunteers to come and help us to do this over the weekends of 30th and 31st Oct, 6th and 7th November and 13th November. You don't have to do all three weekends, although that would be marvellous, you can volunteer for one morning or afternoon session with a friend, and guidance and support will be given when you do. You will be located on one of the shopping streets of Knutsford or in a supermarket etc. Contact the Chair John Walker on for more information.

Full guidance on what to do, where and when to volunteer in Knutsford town centre is given before you volunteer and there will always be a point of contact. Younger volunteers must be accompanied by an adult but it can be one adult with 4 young people in the same location.

What training is available for the volunteer?:

Information and training on where to go, what to do etc is given and there will be a point of contact in the Town Hall to deal with any queries.
