This Trustee will take the lead on all matters in regard to health and safety. They will follow the already laid down procedures and ensure that our premises are safe following all HSE guidance, and our health and safety systems are regularly updated and fit for purpose. (For those applicants without formal qualifications there may be the opportunity to learn, by carrying out some aspects of this role relative to a Community Centre, which may aid future employment,)

Experience of all aspects of health and safety
Able to carry out and update risk assessments
Carry out weekly and monthly checks and monitoring - day and time to suit
Ideally live locally
Computer literate with a "Can Do" attitude
Report to Chair
Willing to attend training as required for CPD
Attendance at the bi-monthly Management Meetings
Able to commit the required time for this important role and work to deadlines in regard to policies and procedures
"Hands On" approach.

Morton Hall has an all repairing lease which makes us also responsible for implementing all health and safety requirements, therefore having a dedicated responsible person will free up other volunteer time from implementing this essential area of Hall Management.
