St Luke's is looking for a Trustee - Do you have enthusiasm and the drive to make a positive contribution to the work we do?
St Luke’s Hospice cares for people in mid & south Cheshire who are suffering from life threatening illnesses. We offer specialist treatment, care, advice and support to patients and their families.
If you have experience in the private, public or voluntary sectors and the drive to make a difference, we have an opportunity for you to join our Trustee Board to make a positive contribution to the work we do. We are particularly interested in a CV from you if you have experience in Estates Management and Information Technology sectors.
Trustees are expected to attend our Trustee Board Meetings, which are held in the early evening on the last Wednesday of every month at the Hospice. You will also be expected to be a member of a Board Sub Committee which meets 6 times per year. This role offers great scope for professional development, exposure at Board level and the opportunity to support the development of local services.
You will need to demonstrate a range of competencies including strategic thinking, team working, excellent communications skills, a challenging approach and a strong judgement. We are looking for Trustees who have the dedication, commitment and desire to improve our services and help us to achieve our strategic goals in line with our ethos and values.
