Audlem & District Community Action (ADCA) runs several day clubs and lunch clubs for older people who live across our largely rural area. Having transport to get people into our social activities helps combat loneliness and also promotes people's health and wellbeing.
As an ADCA Community Driver we ask that you have a suitable car, a clean driving licence and a commitment to providing regular help on our rotas. This can be once a weekly, monthly or occasionally as a reserve driver. As you will be volunteering with vulnerable adults, a DBS check and references are needed. Our volunteers get as much out of their work as the older people themselves. You will be provided with induction training and support.
