At Shopmobility we hire mobility equipment such as Scooters and Electric Wheelchairs and we need someone to assist clients to make their equipment bookings. As the Volunteer Bookings Assistant, you will be talking to clients of the service on the telephone or in person. You will record which piece of equipment they would like to hire, on which day and take down other useful information so that we can provide the best possible service to our clients.
We would also like assistance with taking other journey requests and recording these on our online calendar.
Other administrative work such as typing documents, posting letters, filing paperwork will also be part of the role.
We are looking for a confident user of Microsoft Office who has good attention to detail. You will enjoy delivering a high standard of customer service and will be comfortable assisting people on the telephone or in person. You will be happy following instructions and enjoy working as a valued member of the team.
A full induction will be provided prior to starting the role. Relevant training will be provided and specific training requests will be considered. You will always have support from a friendly member of staff.
