We are looking for people who are prepared to represent The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) at local networking and community events in order to raise awareness of the work that we do.

Location: Cheshire East, Crewe, Macclesfield, Outside of Cheshire East
Days and Times for the Opportunity: Monday AM, Monday PM, Tuesday AM, Tuesday PM, Wednesday AM, Wednesday PM, Thursday AM, Thursday PM, Friday AM, Friday PM, Saturday AM, Saturday PM

• Raising awareness of The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) in your area
• Developing local fundraising initiatives and events
• Representing RASASC a local networking events in the community
• Delivering leaflets and posters in local community areas (i.e. GP surgeries, Libraries)

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• A professional and friendly telephone manner
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Attendance at Volunteer Induction training

Out of pocket travelling expenses will be reimbursed. Up to a maximum claim of £5 per day

What support is available for the volunteer?:

You will be given a full induction training course covering the various aspects of the work before volunteering will begin.

What training is available for the volunteer?:

In house training will be provided for all volunteers which will cover all aspects of the role of a volunteer.
