Host Organisation: Save the Family

Assist and support young children in Save the Family's Children's Centre. Help facilitate and set up craft sessions, organise play activities, and support song and story time.

We are looking for volunteers to assist and support young children in our Children's Centre.

Volunteers would help facilitate and set up craft sessions, organise play activities, and support song and story time.

This is a rewarding role for anyone that has a couple of hours free a week. This is good experience for anyone that wants to progress in a career working with children.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Ideally volunteers would:

*Have patience and good communication skills;
*Be good listener;
*Have an ability to relate to children and young people;
*Have a good sense of humour with a calm and child focused manner
*Have knowledge of early years, ages and stages, and parenting skills desirable.
