The Volunteer Managers Network is a series of meetings planned quarterly throughout the year and gives volunteer managers the opportunity to meet others in similar roles from organisations across Cheshire East to network, create links and partnerships, and share best practice. During these network meetings, we deliver workshops, action learning sets, presentations, specialist talks and activities to bring knowledge, experience, and skills together in one place where we can learn from each other.

Volunteer Managers Network - Thursday 10th December, 10am-11:30am

Virtual Meeting on Zoom

During this interactive virtual Volunteer Managers Network meeting we will be introducing our new ‘Young People in Volunteering’ project along with a draft copy of our toolkit, containing guidance information and templates to aid the recruitment of young volunteers. We will also be discussing how young people can add value to charities, as well as what positive and meaningful opportunities charities can give to young people. We invite you to share your experiences and best practice around this topic.

As always, we aim to open up the meeting to any volunteer-related concerns or issues being faced by volunteer managers and work together to offer peer support and discuss possible solutions.

We won’t be able to bring boxes and boxes of mince pies like at previous December events, but feel free to have one with you at your desk or dining room table, along with a brew, and enjoy our last network event of 2020.

If your usual Volunteer Manager is currently furloughed (therefore unable to attend) and you have someone else within the organisation managing volunteers at this time, please do still feel welcome to attend the Network.

You will be sent a Zoom meeting link before the Network.
