Virtual Training On Zoom
The course covers:
- What you need in place before involving volunteers.
- Policies and procedures.
- Best practice in volunteer management.
- Pitfalls to avoid.
Outcomes for learners:
- Understand the policies and procedures that need to be in place to support you and your volunteers.
- Understand best practice in recruiting and retaining your volunteers.
During the session volunteer managers are encouraged to share ideas and solutions.
This session fits into the Governance and People sections of the GRIPP Checklist.
The course will be delivered by a member of the Development Team at CVS Cheshire East.
*Cancellation: Although this funded course is free to attend for VCFS organisations in Cheshire East, non-attendance without 5 working days' notice of cancellation will result in you being invoiced a £20 fee. This cancellation fee is to assess genuine interest in courses and cover the time spent in administration and preparation of the training should it not reach minimum numbers required by funders as a result of non-attendance.
