Have you ever thought about volunteering but not sure what's involved? Why not come along free and informal session telling you more about what types of volunteering you can do, how to find a role and what to expect once you start to volunteer.

Who's it for?

This session is aimed at anyone who is new to volunteering and would like to know more about how to find a role and what to expect. It is also ideal for people who haven't volunteered for a long time and would like to update their knowledge on what to expect when starting a role.

What the session covers:

  • The benefits of volunteering
  • The types of volunteer roles that are available 
  • How to find a role
  • What to expect from the recruitment process
  • What to expect when starting with an organisation
  • How to deal with concerns

The session will address some of the common concerns about volunteering and we will also offer one to one support to find your perfect role.
