We are currently recruiting for new Trustees to join the existing board to help support and guide us over the next few years in continuing to run this successful business.

We are seeking people with specific skills sets in the following areas to expand our knowledge base, maintain our performance and fulfil our strategic aims;

- Experience of IT systems
- Experience of Marketing & Public Relations.

However, if you don’t have these skills but have the energy, caring nature and interest in making a difference we would also like to hear from you.

Trustees will be required to -

Attend Trustee meetings
Understanding the role and responsibilities of a Trustee
Act as an advocate for the Trust in the wider community
Understand and appreciate the work of the Trust in providing service to adults with learning disabilities which empower them to live with choice and ownership

Experience of working in IT

Trustees receive a full induction training programme and are fully supported to attend meetings (virtually or in person) . The Rossendale Trust is a supportive, friendly organisation and all staff and volunteers are given the required support to perform their roles.
