Join our friendly team of volunteers supporting local people affected by visual impairments in Congleton.
The group meet twice a month for information, peer support, conversation and fun.
Occasional trips out and events.
Full training will be given on sight loss awareness, sighted guiding and safeguarding. We also offer First Aid training.

Patience and good listening and communication skills.
Able to work with others in a small team.
Enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.

Training and handbook given. Training undertaken is recorded. A named Trustee and the Volunteer Co-ordinator are point of contact for individual volunteer support.

Sight loss awareness training, sighted guide training and safeguarding training. First aid training available.
