Volunteering to carry out patient surveys on wards

NB all volunteers in patient-facing ward based roles must have had both covid-19 vaccinations.
This role is a great opportunity to find out how people really feel about their experience in hospital. As a patient survey volunteer, you will spend time with patients on wards, working with them through a questionnaire. This questionnaire may be on paper or it may be on a tablet, depending on the ward. Some people may wish to complete the survey independently and you will facilitate this, with some people you will work through each individual question and enter their answers on their behalf.
You will have good communication skills, will have compassion and empathy for our patients and you will have a calm, patient approach.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

You will be comfortable using a tablet (ipad or similar).
You will have excellent communication skills.
You must have had your covid vaccinations for this role and you must carry out lateral flow tests the night before every volunteering session.

35p per mile, capped at 10 miles each way

On site volunteer team to provide support as and when required.
