The Astbury Mere Trust needs a Health and Safety Officer to work with the Trustees and Country Park Ranger to ensure the safety of those who visit or work within the park.
Responsibilities include:
- Defining the park's Health and Safety Policy and procedures
- Regularly inspecting the park to identify safety issues and recommending corrective actions
- Working with activity organisers and tradesmen to ensure their activities are safe
- Ensuring the park meets legal obligations
