Knutsford GROW offers a donation based garden maintenance service to residents in Longridge, Knutsford, who find it difficult to garden themselves.
Volunteers work in small supervised groups carrying out a range of garden maintenance activities, such as mowing, weeding and pruning.
The service ensures that residents are able to use their gardens, and to enjoy the many benefits that gardens bring, and also helps to reduce isolation and loneliness in the community.
Volunteers can expect to enjoy a range of health and well being benefits themselves by helping out.
