empower older people against scams and fraudsters.

To share knowledge of local scams and new interest groups with the project manager, be scam aware and disseminate scams awareness information on an informal basis in the local community (Macclesfield, Poynton, Congleton, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Knutsford areas).

Volunteers will promote the project with family, friends and contacts in the local community.
Inform project manager of any scams within the local area.
Keep up to date with current scams, how to spot and avoid them, and how to report them.
Inform the project manager of any groups who may benefit from a scams awareness session.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Good with people.
Well organised, reliable and trustworthy.
Basic ICT skills.
Knowledge / interest in scams awareness.
Knowledge of / active in the local community.
