Volunteer from your own home
Make regular calls to a Carer allocated to you at an agreed time each week for our Outgoing CHAT line.
Receive calls from Carers during an allocated hour each week for our Incoming CHAT line.
Offer emotional and/or peer support to Carers
Work within the organisation’s policy on confidentiality and safeguarding
No costs incurred
Willingness to listen to Carers in a non-judgemental way and provide emotional support.
Experience as an unpaid carer is desirable but not essential.

• 2 x mentoring sessions per year with frequent welfare checks
