We are looking for trustees to join our Board – people who would like to make a difference in the community we serve and have a genuine interest in the work we do.
As a Trustee you will use your skills and experience to guide us through exciting times, shaping our governance, contributing to our strategic future and acting as an ambassador for all aspects of our work.
We hold board meetings six evenings a year. Trustees are occasionally asked to support the Association at other times by agreement.
YMCA Crewe is at the forefront of providing services that create new futures for children, young people and adults in South Cheshire. The Trustees support a CEO and Senior Management Team to effectively utilise resources of around £2 million every year. Through our highly motivated and skilled staff (plus many volunteers), we are a key provider of services in the region and part of the worldwide Christian YMCA movement.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

There is no need to have trustee experience to apply, but a keen desire to support our work is essential. We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have professional qualifications and experience in any of the following areas: social housing, mental health, safeguarding, finance, fundraising, human resources, legal services or church leadership.
