Host Organisation: South Cheshire CLASP

Would you be willing to spare an hour a week to oversee the financial accounts of South Cheshire CLASP, a charity which supports single-parent families in the Crewe area? As Treasurer, you will also be on the Board of Trustees.

Days and Times for the Opportunity: Tuesday AM

* meet weekly with the Finance Officer and the CEO to authorise payments
* check the bank account at least once a week
* arrange for the accounts to be audited by an independent auditor
* write the Treasurer's Annual Report
* prepare the Annual Return for the Charities' Commission
* attend trustee meetings, held every two months
