Days and Times for the Opportunity: Monday AM, Monday PM, Tuesday AM, Tuesday PM, Wednesday AM, Wednesday PM, Thursday AM, Thursday PM, Friday AM, Friday PM
The Foodbank has become increasingly busy and requires lots of extra time and help!
No 2 days are ever the same, and just a snippet of what the role involves is-
*Sorting deliveries and donations
*Cleaning, tidying and organising
*Dealing with outside agencies and members of the public in collecting food parcels
*Dealing with the often complex needs of our service users and signposting (Full training given)

No formal qualifications are required but being able to work confidently with people is desirable.

What support is available for the volunteer?:
We offer a lot of support and we have many experienced volunteers that shadow any new volunteers.
What training is available for the volunteer?:
We offer extensive training within the Foodbank although a lot of learning is done whilst carrying out the role through hands on experience.
We also roll out to ALL of our volunteers; in-house training covering Basic Food Hygiene, Basic Mental Health, Basic First-Aid and much more.
