Host Organisation: Mobility and Access Group

The Mobility and Access Group (MAG) are seeking a driver to preferably volunteer approx 12 hours a week to take our disabled and elderly people shopping. We are looking for a friendly patient person to help our residents to go shopping, which is a lifeline for some of our lovely residents.

You will be helping vulnerable people to go shopping and also assist in helping them on and off the 12 seater Mini-Bus which has a tail-gate for two wheelchairs. Most of our people are able to walk unaided but have difficulties climbing steps.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

We require volunteers to have a clean license and some experience of driving Mini-buses. As our bus has a tail-lift training will be given.
