Recruiting passionate individuals to support others in addiction to transition into recovery and to reclaim their lives
Our volunteer Recovery Coaches will be working with people in active addiction and/or early recovery and can support these individuals in many different capacities. Some people just need a listening ear; others may want support in attending a new community group or mutual aid meeting. These are just two examples; our clients are all unique and the volunteer can be involved in activities that they feel best suited to. Opportunities for admin or clerical support are also available.
We provide a 5 day training course that leads to full accreditation on completion of work experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to make a real difference not only in people's lives, but in the community and society as a whole. This role precipitates self-development; a new level of personal awareness and although can be challenging at times, provides a rewarding, feel-good element like no other. Recovery Coaches can commit to an hour to a day of their time; this is entirely at the volunteer's discretion and convenience.
Don't delay! Please apply to be contacted immediately and booked onto our training course.
