RedShift is a busy online community radio station that gives great training and a starting ground for anyone wanting to enter the media industry. Our production assistant roles require six hours of commitment a week to support our presenters. You will be trained on our systems but a knowledge of Audacity is helpful.
You will help with:
- Uploading music
- Editing programmes
- Creating jingles
- Helping presenters with technical queries
- Training presenters

Skills and Qualifications Required:
Excellent listening skills to pick up on edits needed in pieces of audio
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Knowledge of computers
Knowledge of social media
Experience using Audacity or other audio editing package
