Community Ambassadors promote the mental health and well-being of children and young people by:
• Increasing their knowledge of young people’s mental health issues
• Raising awareness in their community
• Supporting or mentoring young people in difficulty
• Taking part in fundraising activities
• Lobbying decision-makers
• And much more!
If you’re concerned about young people, there’s something you can do – and we’ll train and support you to do it.

Out-of-pocket expenses, some travel expenses.
What support is available for the volunteer?:
Ongoing support from the Community Ambassador Co-Ordinator, plus peer support from the Community Ambassador network.
What training is available for the volunteer?:
An initial half-day workshop, followed by further training as required.
