You'll make a difference to our patients and their families and friends by providing colour and care, offering a service that hospitals can't provide. It's another type of Hospice care for which we are so well known.
Receive flower donations and arrange into vases / oasis based arrangements.
Change water in existing displays
Deliver arrangements throughout the Hospice, in particular to our patients' areas.
Volunteer flower arrangers work 1.30 - 3.30 weekdays in teams of two, and we have occasional need for volunteers on a Saturday, at a time to suit. For an informal chat, please email avs@echospice.org.uk

With volunteering being central to the work of East Cheshire Hospice, we provide a great environment in which to volunteer, with a full Hospice and role induction, relevant training and support from every staff member.

What training is available for the volunteer?:

In addition to role-specific training, we ask all volunteers to undertake annual confidentiality, safeguarding and safe working training to ensure a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors and colleagues. This is short, paper based training taking 10-15 minutes.
