We will match you with a person in the early stages of dementia, who has similar interests to you. You'll visit the person with dementia, ideally weekly - but there is some flexibility - and do activities that you both enjoy. It could be walking, visiting cafes, art galleries and museums or simply chatting about shared interests. This means that with the training that we provide, you'll be a great companion for the person with dementia, and you'll benefit their carer too as the service allows them to spend some much needed 'me time'.
