CLiC is a furniture re-use and recycling facility with a Warehouse. Gain valuable experience as a volunteer undertaking all aspects of warehouse work.

Based in Winsford, Cheshire your voluntary role will include:
- Moving furniture and white goods within a warehouse
- Loading and unloading vans
- Re-using furniture that would otherwise go to landfill
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Going out on the vans as an assistant when required.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Must be able to lift heavy items of stock, for example washing machines, sofa's, large fridge/ freezers; have the ability to work as part of a team; be reliable with good time-keeping skills

If yes, for what and at what rate?:

Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses paid i.e day saver bus or train ticket. Mileage paid at 25p per mile (there is a capped maximum amount). Please note that we do not pay taxi expenses.
If your role is for more than 4 hours per day, a hot or cold lunch will be provided. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge. Cold drinks can be purchased from the on-site CLiC Cafe.

What support is available for the volunteer?:

Ongoing personal support from the Volunteer Coordinator. Training is provided free of charge.
