Now that you have decided that you would like to involve volunteers in your organisation, you will want to ensure that it is going to be a positive and rewarding experience for both you and your volunteer.

We offer all Cheshire East organisations a wide range of support and services to help them ensure that this is the case.

When you register your organisation with our Volunteer Service, we can help you to:

Promote your volunteer opportunities on CVS Cheshire East’s Volunteer Opportunity Search.

Source volunteers

Access free training for your staff and volunteers

Help you to become ‘Volunteer Ready’ and be best prepared to welcome volunteers into your organisation.

Check that you have the correct volunteering policies & procedures

Have the opportunity to attend our Volunteer Managers Network events and be able to join a network of those currently managing volunteers to share ideas, guidance and information

Member organisations of CVS Cheshire East also benefit from our full volunteering support package, plus access to advertising with our press partners, radio and other national websites such as Jobsite and Third Sector.

'Finding new volunteers for our lunch club in Knutsford is notoriously difficult. I was therefore delighted to get two enquires in the first week of using the new CVSCE provided "Volunteer" website and a further enquiry the following week. All these enquiries are being followed up and are all looking very positive. This response far exceeds anything I have experienced before from previous attempts to publicise our volunteer vacancies'

Yvonne Baker, St John's Wood Lunch Club, Knutsford
