Mersey Care serves more than 11 million people, offering specialist inpatient and community services that support mental health, learning disabilities, addictions, brain injuries and physical health, and we are one of only three trusts in the UK that offer high secure mental health facilities. We are proud of our large, diverse, representative membership. More than 13,000 people have joined the Trust and are helping us build and maintain effective links with the community that we serve. This ensures direct involvement of stakeholders in our corporate governance and decision-making processes.

We are always looking to better represent the needs of our communities and value ideas and opinions from diverse groups of people and encourage any who feel that their needs are not being met, or that we can improve our offer to BAME communities and groups, then please consider becoming a Trust member.

If you are aged 14 or over and want to join an influential group of people interested in the development of health services across Cheshire and Merseyside, please complete an online application form by clicking here or call us on 0151 471 2303 and we’ll send you an application form in the post.

We are currently holding elections for new governors. As a member you will have the opportunity to vote for your governor representative, or you may be someone who is interested in becoming a governor yourself.
