Cheshire West Voluntary Action’s (CWVA) 2020 Conference: Partnerships and Collaborations on Thursday 20th February, in partnership with the University of Chester.
The Conference costs £30 per person and is aimed specifically at the voluntary and community sector, with more than 125 people attending last year’s event. One person who went said: “It was the biggest and best gathering of the local charity and social enterprise sector in the last decade.”
It will get underway at the University’s Queens Park Campus from 9.30am, with arrival for registration, refreshments and a University Marketplace from 8.30am.
There will be a number of different guest speakers on the day.

· Councillor Louise Gittins, Leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council
· Professor Eunice Simmons, Vice Chancellor of the University of Chester
· Councillor Martyn Delaney, Deputy Lord Mayor of Chester
· Simon Sandford, Chair of CWVA’s Board
You will be able to take part in three different workshops, with 21 different topics to choose from (see programme attached). These include trustee diversity, charity law, networking, Women in Leadership, working with the NHS and communication and marketing to name just a few. You can select which workshops you want to take part in at the same time as booking your place at the event.
