23rd May 2018
10am - 1pm at Sandbach Town Hall

This is a fantastic opportunity for groups to speak directly to funders by having one to one appointments with them.

Book to attend and have the opportunity to speak face to face with a variety of funding bodies, both local and national. Groups can run ideas for possible applications past funders and learn more about funders’ criteria and what they are looking for in applications.  Groups have been very successful in securing funding in the past after attending Meet the Funder so we would really encourage you to attend and make the most of this opportunity.

This is a popular event amongst our VCFS community, be sure to book your place early to avoid disappointment as places are limited. Attendance is restricted to two members from the same organisation.

This is a FREE event for CVS Cheshire East members and £10 for non-members. Visit our Membership Benefits webpage to find out what other ways a CVS membership can benefit your organisation.

Some feedback from past attendees:

‘The face to face element was brilliant. There was lots of information available generally and people on hand to ask questions too’

‘We feel better informed and think we have a better chance of success.’

‘We feel more knowledgeable about what funders’ expectations are and what they expect from applicants.’

‘It gave us new ideas about how to approach large projects.’

‘We benefitted from the openness and helpfulness of funders to explore ideas and suggestions.’

‘It was a was also a great networking event and opportunity to raise awareness of our organisation’s services, not just about external funding opportunities- by talking to organisations, we’ve taken away ideas for potential funding opportunities.’
