CVS Marketing Network & Resources

Are you involved or responsible for marketing and promoting the activities, events or campaigns that your organisation runs?

This network will provide an opportunity for you to gain new skills or develop existing ones, link in with others doing similar things to you and develop a support network for your marketing and comms.

The CVS Marketing Network provides expert support guidance and advice on the tools and assets commonly used to create robust marketing exercises. This includes graphic design, social media, google ads and listing tools, digital communications across websites and mailings, video production including live streaming, branding and managing your organisation's visual identity, campaign planning and execution.

Previous Network Meetings

In a meeting held in July 2021, we had an expert guest speaker Dave Powell, Creative and Managing Director from Thrive Creatives, a marketing company based in Congleton. Dave shared his knowledge and expertise with the meeting's attendees and gave our local sector professional insight into digital marketing and what practices we could be implementing as non-profits.

Join us at our next network meeting

Thursday 16th June 2022, 10:00am - 12:00pm

In this meeting, we'll give you a tour of the new CVS Volunteering Hub platform (and it promotional and engagement features), and look for your support as we plan our 12-month long marketing campaign to promote volunteering in Cheshire East.

As our marketing campaign will champion every organisation advertising volunteer roles through CVS, we'll be looking for your input and feedback as to the strategy and implementation of the campaign.

  • What audiences do you find difficult to reach?
  • What types of opportunities do you find difficult to fill?
  • How much time do you spend promoting your volunteer roles and what return do you see on that time spent?
  • What marketing practices do you engage with in promoting your volunteer roles?

The primary goal will be to increase the number of people volunteering in Cheshire East through our new volunteer recruitment platform. To do that well, we'd like our campaign to address the challenges you encounter promoting your volunteer roles (or marketing in general).  This also enables us as a network to create actions, resources and guidelines through collaboration.

We'll be joined by CVS Development Officer Roy Aldwin who leads our Volunteer Managers Network which will also be involved in the planning and execution of this campaign.

The meeting will also allow time to for you ask the network about any challenges your currently encountering and we'll update you on the marketing resources CVS are developing.

We hope you can join us.
