Early Help Framework

The Early Help Framework is a new Commissioning mechanism brought in by Cheshire East Council. Some of you may have been to some events held in January to discuss what it might look like. It is now open, but only for a month, so act fast. It can be found here: https://www.the-chest.org.uk/index.html

The Early Help Framework defines the Council’s approach to commissioning early help services over the next four years, and has been developed in conjunction with Eastern Cheshire and South Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Groups.

Its objective is to facilitate a significant and tangible impact on the lives of children, young people and adults whilst also aiming to:

• prevent or delay demand for adult social care, children’s services, and health services, as well as reducing escalation to more intensive and specialist support

• maximise the impact of early help commissions by targeting support effectively and reducing duplication.

Expressions of interest opened on 26/04/2018 11:05 and will close on 29/05/2018 12:00

It is exteremely important that VCFS organisations apply to be part of this framework. If you do not submit by the deadline, then you will have to wait for at least 12 months, and therefore will not be able to tender for any services commissioned through the framework.
