Hours: 30 hrs per week (over 4 or 5 days inc Wed)
Salary: £27,125 pro rata
Location: East Cheshire NHS Trust HQ, Macclesfield

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Volunteer Co-ordinator to take over the volunteer programme at East Cheshire NHS Trust. With around 300 volunteers on various wards in the hospital and across different departments of the Trust, this volunteer programme is well established and thriving. The post holder will be able to make their mark and develop the programme further.
We are looking for someone with experience of recruiting volunteers, developing opportunities, and celebrating their success. Volunteering is a key part of the NHS Trust, and so the role will include fostering relationships with staff at different levels, as well as being empathetic and supportive of volunteers. The post holder will also be producing reports to show the impact of volunteering.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for volunteering and can share this through presentations and talks to inspire people to get involved. Working with a range of different people and helping them make a difference – this role will be supporting volunteers from age 16-100!
