Job Title: Supported Internships Job Coach (Northwich/Cheshire) Ref: 18/35
Hours: Working 3 days per week. 6 hrs per day (18 hours per week)
Temporary contract from September 2018 to June 2019
Salary: Annualised Hours based on £18,024.00 Pro-rata.
Annualised hrs = monthly salary averaged out over academic year (Sept to June) remaining the same each month to include fade support where appropriate.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for Imagine Independence to employ a Job Coach to work in the Cheshire/Northwich area. You will support a young person with Special Educational Needs or a Learning Difficulty/Disability accessing a Supported Internship Programme.
The support will take place in an employment setting with a young person who has been placed by Russett School, Northwich and will be tailor-made to meet their needs, while maintaining their dignity and self-respect.
You will work closely with the employer/employees to maintain the quality of the placement and where possible, the young person will progress into paid employment at the end of the programme.
